Most people who call us ask the same thing first. Which colony should we look in?

The answer depends on your budget, the size you need and how close you want to be to the bazaar, schools and the hospital.

This page puts the main colonies side by side so you can make a short list.

Housing colonies at a glance

Here is what we know about each colony. Utilities and approval can change street by street, so treat this as a starting point.

House sizes you will find

Most stock in town falls into three groups. Pick your size first, then the colony.

5 to 7 marla family homes

Good for a mid-sized family. Usually 3 to 4 bedrooms, a car porch and a modern kitchen.

10 to 12 marla double story

Bigger homes with a lawn, double garage, two entrances and a servant quarter.

1 kanal homes

Found mainly in Civil Lines, Model Town Phase I and along the main boulevards.

What to check before you buy in any colony

A good colony does not mean a clean file. Check these on the actual house, not the colony name.

  1. Get the Fard. Match the owner name, khasra and size with the seller's CNIC.
  2. Check the naqsha. In a scheme, make sure the plot number and street width match the approved layout.
  3. See the bills. Ask for recent gas, electricity and water bills in the owner's name.
  4. Plan the transfer. Read our Fard and registry steps so you know the order of payments.

Never pay bayana on a plot whose Fard you have not seen yourself. Photos on WhatsApp are not enough.

Buying, renting or selling

We deal in all the colonies above. You can browse houses for sale in these colonies or look at rented homes near your work. If you already own a house here and want to move, you can list your house with Naeem Siddhu.

Common questions

Short answers to what people ask us most.

Which are the main housing colonies in Chichawatni?

The ones families ask about most are Hayat Abad, Model Town Phase I, Housing Scheme No. 1 and 2, and Civil Lines with Canal Colony. Green Town and Satellite Town are newer areas where prices are usually easier.

What house size is most common?

Most family houses here are 5 to 7 marla. Bigger 10 to 12 marla double story houses and 1 kanal homes are fewer and sit mostly in Civil Lines and Model Town.

How do I know a colony plot is legal?

Ask for the Fard and match the khasra and owner name with the Arazi Record Center. For a scheme plot, also check the layout approval and the naqsha before you pay any bayana.

Do all colonies have Sui gas?

Not all. The table above shows what each colony has as far as we know. Always check the meter and bills of the actual house, because two streets in one colony can be different.
